There was a little girl who had a birthday this past Sunday. She is now two and the youngest of our nieces and nephews. She is cute as a button and smart as a whip and the quietest child I have ever been around. Seriously. I’ve never heard her say one word. She can get her point across quite nicely without them, I guess.
Anyway, we had a birthday party for this sweet lil’ girl and showered her with gifts and ate abundant food and cake.
And this lil’ birthday girl’s Grandpa acted silly. Silly ol’ Grandpa. That’s why he’s such a fun Grandpa, ’cause when he’s around his grandkids, he acts silly and fun and not like a stuffy grown up person at all.
So, we stuffed ourselves with food and cake and took pictures and ahh-ed over the cute little birthday girl and laughed at the antics of the little girl’s silly Grandpa.
I am thankful for this little girl and her silly Grandpa.
